To go live, every website needs a domain name and hosting. They aren’t included in the price because you pay for them directly, so they stay in your name and under your control.
A domain name
Your web address, like yourbusiness.com.au. It’s registered in your name and renewed with your domain provider. A .com.au domain needs an Australian business number (ABN).
Already have one? Great. We’ll connect it for you.
WordPress hosting
Where your website lives. It needs to support WordPress, with SSL and admin access. Website-builder accounts like Wix, Squarespace or Shopify can’t host a WordPress website.
Not sure what you have? Tell us in your brief and we’ll check.
Don’t have these yet? We’ll make it easy. We can set up hosting and your domain in your own account for a one-off $79, or ask us about SiteBuddy Hosting + Care so we look after it for you.

No. You’ll need a domain name and WordPress hosting, which you pay for directly so they stay in your name. If you don’t have them yet, we can set them up in your account for $79, or look after hosting for you with SiteBuddy Hosting + Care.
No problem. We can use up to 6 licensed stock photos chosen to suit your business. Your own photos are always best, so add them any time.
You don’t need to. Our brief asks simple questions about your business, and we turn your answers into page copy. If you’d like us to write everything from scratch, add Copywriting for $99.
Your first preview is usually ready within 5–7 business days once we’ve confirmed your brief is complete and we have everything we need. Timing pauses whenever we’re waiting on you, for example for information, photos, branding, access, feedback or approvals.
You review a private preview before anything goes live, and you get one round of changes. If you’d like a completely different approach or more changes, we’ll explain the options, such as an extra round of changes or upgrading to a Business Website.
Yes. Extra pages are $59 each, or you can upgrade to a Business Website. If you upgrade within 30 days, we credit what you’ve already paid.
You do. Once it’s delivered, your website and your content are yours. There are no lock-in contracts.
Yes. WordPress is the world’s most widely used website platform, so you’re never locked in to us and can use any WordPress provider in future.
